A WAKENING OF THE TRAILBLAZER!!!

A WAKENING OF THE TRAILBLAZER!!!

I just watched this one without the subs as it isn't available yet... but I'm surprised by myself that I understood almost everything... maybe that's what you get when you watch Anime for a long time...

No I don't have time to write down what I think about the movie because I would rather spend this time watching the whole thing again!!!

But here's some screencaps of the first few minutes...

the Universal Century asteroid named Axis made a cameo...

Setsuna F. Seiei...

FULL MAXIMUM G.N. BURST MEGA BAZOOKA CANNON!!!

JUST WATCH THE THING!!!

Ja!

I started to lower down the image sizes for my wip post just this few days... so I could save some of those free space...

Random Thought: Chamaro as Anarchy Stocking

So here's another Chamaro post..  now she's doing Anarchy Stocking from the new Anime Panty & Stocking...

Her cosplay is already a few weeks old but I just found out that the series was produced by Gainax... GAINAX.... so I might give it a try in the next few days...

Ja mata ne!

and I've just finished watching Ore No Imouto.... where's season 2???

and I've had The Beatles as my gunpla music for the last whole week, listening to it 24 hours a day while customizing Gat-X105... just to take a break from all the Jpops...

And I'm waiting for TRAILBLAZER dl to finish... still without subs...

MG 1/100 Aile Strike Gundam WIP

So here's what I've done during these few days...

What should be a simple build went under a few detailing up. I'm actually surprised by this certain MG Kit, the internal frame has that great possibility for doing countless customs and gimmicks like applying LED lights and more details to everything...

If ever I would finish this custom build without applying LEDs... I might pick up another Strike Gundam kit and do a full cockpit light up custom... Maybe Strike Rouge, or one of the two Strikes with I.S.W.P.s

3 3/4 Inch Gardet Luc's "The Patronizer" WIP

So this will be the WIP post for "The Patronizer" custom... It's just a simple custom, more of a repaint with a little recarving of the head part.

This will also be the first time that I'll be using Enamels as my medium in painting the figure overall. other than just applying washes...

1/100 NG MSJ-06 II-A Tieren Ground Type

Tieren Ground Type. Probably the bulkiest Mobile Suit ever...

The design is good, all the mechanical details and rough textures... the giant bazooka... the small figures... The only flaw is that the kit is too heavy to be supported by polycaps in 1/100 NG scale... especially the hip joints which tend to loosen up overtime... that's why I left my second kit just standing at the most, careful not to post it much...

I actually have two of these model kits right now but I still don't know what or how to customize them... I'm thinking of converting one of them into a space type, or just put them together in combat into one diorama...

So here's more images...

1/100 MG GN-001 Gundam Exia

This was actually my second MG Kit sanpfitted about a year ago sometime after MG Strike...

The kit was actually good in terms of articulation but as time flies, some joints would actually tend to loosen up... but details on the kit were amazing especially the head and the green sensors...

And as you can see, I again left out some parts like the four beam sabers, and the two GN Blades for easy customizng...

So here's Gundam Exia...

3 3/4 Inch Gardet Luc's "The Patronizer"

This 3 day project would be a small gift for a good friend of mine... It's just a 3 3/4 inch custom action figure based on his self created / painted character "The Patronizer" which could be found here at his deviantart gallery.

The custom was made from one of the A-Team figures "Face". I repainted the pants and shoes with black and brown, retouched the shading of the figure overall, painted the guns shiny black, though I made a slight mess on painting the hands which I might retouch later before handing them over...

I also created a custom stand which still need some white lettering for the title... And also designed a custom cardback which needs to be printed out...

And I still need to give it away...

Anyways... here's THE PATRONIZER... by ANOTHER LIFETIME FIGURES...

1/100 MG ZGMF - X10A Freedom Gundam

I actually snapfitted this kit about two weeks ago... It's only this time that I actually had time to post images of the completed kit itself. So here's the completed snapfit of the kit...

MG 1/100 GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam

This is actually my first MG kit snapfitted about almost a 10 months ago.I already sanded down most of the body armors, and cleaned the nub marks off. Also, I left out the internal detail part of one of the red fins of the Aile Strike pack because it seems I would be having a hard time taking it out again during the customizing process...

Anyways... here are most of the images I took...

1/100 HG Wing Gundam Zero "Repair" Custom

Share | This took me 9 months of on and off work, too much cash for starting up the hobby, and learned many things in doing the project. This is my first ever customized Gundam considered as a start up build or a practice build. Now I know the basics and have the experience and a basis for doing more kits next time. This is already one of my projects which have a big sentimental value for me. Thanks to DC23's basic tutorials, and to those people at the MAC forums who helped me..

Basic rundown of mods:
-added wires to shoulder, hip and feet joints.
-added few plaplates on body and on the inner sides of some armor.
-cut the wings in parts.
-added internal detail on busted leg part.
-changed the "feather" parts into 14 individual movable parts.
-changed the rifle handle with a new one.
-added green sensors to head, arms, and rifle parts.
-made a hole/joint at the backpack for the stand.
-added few bare wires on broken armors.
-reshaped the lower part of the leg.

-repainted.
-weathered.

Other information about the build was discussed in the WIP posts...

Anyways... here's the gallery of the project.

I'm currently going nuts trying to find a copy of this movie...

And I'm also currently watching Riisa Naka's tv drama series "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan"...

I think my December is for Riisa Naka already...

HG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero WIP 11

After 9 long months... I have at least finished my first ever custom Gundam. Wing Gundam Zero Repair might be a good name for the project since Gundam 00 is like Gundam W but with Exia Repair, so here's Wing Gundam Zero Repair. (sounds corny?)
.
Anyways... this post would show the painting process and the final modding of the 1/100 HG kit. (IMAGE HEAVY) Pictures were taken from different dates spanning about a 2 weeks before this post...

Random Thought: Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo

 Share |
Have you ever watched Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The Girl Who Leaped Through Time)? The OVA? Well I have... and I can't get enough of it...
Here's a third live remake of the novel starring the same voice actor of the anime movie, Riisa Naka, as Akari. I think the new movie is under the title "Time Traveller".

Makato crying? oh yesss...

I need to find this movie, either online, torrent, dvd or anything!

Until next post!

I'm also currently downloading Junkissa Isobe... with her in it...

I"LL COME RUNNING!!!

Random Thought: Iori Yoshizuki and Asuka cosplay

Share |
 It's 2:45AM now...

My Midterms just came to an end and I can continue work on my Wing Zero tomorrow... I wish I could finished everything tomorrow though I still need to get a flat coat spraycan as a finishing touch.

Anyway, talking about Cosplays and Cosplayers. Here is a photo of a cute cosplayer I've been seeing ever since I've been searching for cosplays.

She definitely looks like someone (some character) I can't remember, then it came to me while posting some note about anime things on Facebook.

Turns out she's Yoshizuki Iori from the manga I"s which was also the first manga I read when I was in grade 7 to Highschool I think. It was introduced to me by my fellow classmate whom I also commissioned to make some illustrations of Asuka, Rei, and Misato from the Evangelion series.

Here's another Cosplayer still as Iori.

And here's a rather Ok Asuka cosplayer (I can't find her name...). Well the cosplayer could be perfect but I wish she could have tried a better plugsuit on,... but perfect nonetheless...

If anyone of you knows the name of any of these cosplayers,
do me a solid?

Untill next post!

I will definitely be working on Zero later... but will have to sleep it on for now...

Haul #12: Soryu Asuka Langley

Share | Well this would be the first Haul Post of the month and it's nothing big. I'm saving my shells for the upcoming XMAS TOYCON this holiday, whether or not I can go.

Anyways... Here's a couple of images of Sohryu (Shikinami) Asuka Langley from the Evangelion Portraits 4 series of the first  movie of the Rebuild of Eva series (I think...). We were on our way home from a day of PURE ARTIST'S AWESOMENESS which I would be blogging about maybe on the next post... We were tired, I was hungry, we roamed the usual Ayala Hobby Fanboy Otaku Goods Lane (neeehhhh....) I saw some new Transformers Generations Dirge and Generations Blurr but the hobby shop owner said they could get some new stocks for me to get, and keeps on telling me to just concentrate on getting the utmost rare things at that time... oh well, just to shut him up, all I got was this Asuka figure...

Random Thought: Evangelion Portraits 7

Images from Gunjap

Share | Evangelion Portraits XII will be released this December 2010. I will definitely be getting all of them (except Kaworu.)

Misato sure looks good... Rei looks awesome with that Lance of Longinus... And I'm drowned on coke...

Until next post...

I'm currently in the middle of an Evangelion, Death And Rebirth, End of Evangelion, Rebuild Marathon right now...

Random Thought: Gundam Wing

Image from Gunjap...

Share | So Bandai just completed the Wing Series (Ver. ka style... Now I'm thinking they would also release the other four gundams in their Endless Waltz appearance... then probably release them just how they appeared in the original Tv series but with a modern redesign like the Wing Gundam and the newest Gundam Deathscythe. Those unreleased ones are still probably prototypes since I don't see any weapons and Shenlong's arm still doesn't expand...

Really excited about this but it's too much to try to get them all...

HG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero WIP 10

Share | So here it is... the continuation of the process of creating a DC23 PG Zeta inspired diorama. The process was actually fun considering it's a first. The only paints I used for the process are just cheap acrylics and some enamel washes. No hairspray technique or other complicated techniques since I don't have the resources to do it at the moment. Good thing it came out good.

I wanted it to come out with a much lighter shade of gray to blend it well with the Wing Gundam Zero but then I might just have to leave it like that so you put more attention on the Wing Zero and less for the darkish diorama...

Random Thought: 1/100 MS Leo and Wing Zero Tv Version

Image from Gunjap...

Share

|
About the "Leo ground battle Mobile Suit" in the picture which is the green one on the left...

I don't now if there are ever news of an upcoming 1/100 HG/NG/MG of MS Leo, I'm not even sure if this is a modded 1/100 Tallgeese III kit or scratchbuilt. I just think it's awesome to see such kit appear on a (somewhat official, high-corporate, hobby Japan, level) display. Now I think the chances of Bandai producing this kit is as high as Bandai producing the whole Gundam team Ver.Ka in Wing Gundam series...

I remember getting two 1/100 NG Teirens just because I'm crazy for the MS Leo design which has got no decent kit produced at the time, only a limited run of a 1/144 which I only knew 10 years after the show aired...

Moving onto the the 1/100 Wing Zero located at the back...

I'm also not sure whether if it's the old HG 1/100 1995 version without it's gold plated finish, or a 1/100 MG... But if it would ever be a new upcoming MG, I thinks Bandai still needs a little more work on making it look more appealing than they were 15 years ago... like what they did to the MG Wing Gundam today, added length to the buster rifle, bigger wings, more sexier design, and proper weight distribution...

This design of Wing Zero still looks exactly as it appeared in any of the 90's era of the Wing franchise, with its just big vents and just big guns and bluky proportions. I hope they redesign this awesome Gundam just the way they did it with the  previously released Wing Gundam...

That Wing Gundam on the right is ... well it is Wing Gundam... flawless kit...

Until next post!

Random Thought: Evangelion 3.0 Poster

Share | I found this image on the internet some time ago. It's the third poster from the third movie of the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy. I don't know if it's official or fan made, but i think it resembles how the third part of the story would be.

Evangelion 3.0: Q Quickening.

Judging from the fact that only Ikari Shinji is the only one on the poster now, the third movie is going to be a huge mind rape... yes, I'm so excited...

HG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero WIP 9

Share |
So it's been two weeks since the last update. I've finished about 95% of all the modding and covering the visible seamlines, the other 5% will be done during or after the painting process. The base diorama is already primed. All I need to do now is to paint the whole project!

I added a few more Sprues, Balloon sticks and wires on the base to make it more detailed. My goal was to make it look like a part of a space colony.

These are mostly diorama WIP updates...

HG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero WIP 8

Share | I just reached WIP#8 and I still haven't finished the thing...

So I made some good progress recently and the project is looking good so far. I just started building the base/diorama/stand for Gundam Wing Zero. You could say that the base is somehow inspired by DC23's PG Zeta ver. DC23 which he mentioned to be inspired by Fritz's Sinanju seen on mechapinoy.

So here are the pics of some good progress of the night...

HG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero WIP 7

Share|After a lot of haul posts... I have finally posted a good update for my first ever custom Gundam.

I assembled Wing Zero and mounted it into the base so I can figure out what size I'm going for for the diorama itself.

I think 5 months of work is going to be worth it...

But about 8 WIP Posts going on about 10 in a few more days is, I think, too much for one project this small. I should work more on a better process for completing more projects in less time.

BUT YOU CAN'T RUSH ART!!!
