Mass Produced Mobile Suit Hauls

Mass Produced Type hauls for today...

RGM-79N Custom from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memories
RGM-79C Ground Type also from Gundam 0083 Stardust Memories
MSA-003 Nemo from Gundam Zeta

A few Mobile Suit introductions and reviews of the kit itself (as it is now...) below...

EFSF RGM-79N Custom

First up, released in 1999 (I presume...) The kit itself I think was also produced near that time since it really show signs of being vintage.

So I think I'm pretty lucky to have get this kit in good condition (and will be damned if ever bandai releases a Ver. 2 of the kit any time now...)

A little info about the Mobile Suit (not the kit itself)... The Mobile Suit design was based on the RX-78 NT-1 Alex Gundam, with thinner legs and different armors... and I think the Design was done by Hajime Katoki (Ver. ka), same designer goes with my GP03S Stamen, Wing Zero, and Deathscythe EW...

And one of the best things about older MG kits is that you'll get a poster of the mobile suit in decent cardboard material... unlike today's MG's...

The only few things that got me into trying so hard into acquiring this kit was because of Lt. South Burning... I became a fan of him the moment I saw Stardust Memories...

Too bad he died midway throughout the series...

So here's the contents... even the plastic bags are in old kinds... softer and thinner than most of today's newr MGs...

The gray parts were in, shall I say, 1995 Gundam Wing gray colors... pretty old Bandai material... Though I'm not sure whether it is really of the same (weaker) material or at least a better kind...

The Model would only have an internal frame on the legs, and it's just there for additional details instead of acting like a real internal frame with working parts and moving pistons and such... since it is an older kit with older Bandai technology...

The beam saber is in a slightly bent condition... but easy fix...

A 1/20 scale Lt. South Burning figure...

Simple rub-on decals, and usual stickers...

The Backcover of the instructions manual and the poster...

There is another version of this kit, the GM QUEL, in Titan's colors (Blue and darker blue) with better elbow articulation and comes with Nina Purpleton as a 1/20 figure...

EFSF RGM-79C Ground Use GM

Next up, RGM-79C Ground use GM, blue colors were for ground-types, red for space-types...

This kit was released in June 2002 (then came the red space-type in November, then the RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. ka, the very first Gundam Ver. ka)

The Mobile Suit design is similar to that of the RGM-79N custom from above, only this is the real mass produced and that the RGM-79N Custom was a "Custom" for Lt. South Burning to use...

The design is (personal opinion...) just a slight Katoki revamp to the older RGM-79 design... which I think looks nice.

The model just also have an internal frame only for the legs, but with extra details like (some) working pistons on movable joints... and also, a much more sturdier material was used for internal frame parts...

Lt. South Burning also piloted one of these Mass Produced Mobile Suits early in the series before switching to his current RGM79-N Custom...

The kit came with this "Gundam Turn A" poster about being released in DVD...

If you don't know nothing about Turn A, it's the Gundam with a mustache... with weird Gundam Proportions and design...

Back to the kit... the upper most runner was bent at the corner... I still am unsure if ever this would cause problems with the main parts within the runner but I think all looks good.. . still... I might have to snap fit this kit tonight first to make sure...

Rub-on Decals and stickers...

I am surprised to see this kit come with a Light pink shade of beam saber parts... since the last time I saw light pink sabers was in much older kits like the HG Wing Zero released in 1995, earlier than the RGM-79N Custom (1999) with darker pink saber parts...

The head... by the way, the white plastic was done in an off-white color, slightly brownish about 5%...

Bandai just have to put a little more effort into producing such fragile pieces... that's the head antenna enclosed with in a box of safety precaution... triple thumbs up for Bandai...

The back of the manual and the poster...

A.E.U.G MSA-003 Nemo

AEUG's mass produced mobile suit...

This is a much newer kit produced in 2006, about 2 years later than MG Aile Strike Gundam which already has a decent frame for the whole body...

I think this was the first RGM like Mobile suit to have a full body frame, while keeping such UC proportions, unlike the VER. 2s of some older kits, whereas their body proportions would be similar to Cosmic Era Mobile suits, losing their bulkiness and slightly taking in a modern style...

And as you can see.. no posters in this kit...

Orange clear part "encased in a box of safety precaution"

Green parts...

More Rub-on decals than previous kits... it now come with warning signs as part of the Rub of sheet... it also comes with stickers...

More runners for the Internal frame... with better, sturdier material (than the previous 2)...

Clear green beam sabers... awesome I guess...

The full frame seen here... (Though the arms were still covered, they've got it too...)

Only the back of the manual... and the box art... no poster??? where's my po.. oh right...

Any ways... this MSA-003 Nemo is a really good (mass produced) kit... for an early model review, go on Dalong.net 's gallery of the awesome model... and see how much it can do.
