3 3/4 Inch Gardet Luc's "The Patronizer" WIP

So this will be the WIP post for "The Patronizer" custom... It's just a simple custom, more of a repaint with a little recarving of the head part.

This will also be the first time that I'll be using Enamels as my medium in painting the figure overall. other than just applying washes...

3 3/4 Inch Gardet Luc's "The Patronizer"

This 3 day project would be a small gift for a good friend of mine... It's just a 3 3/4 inch custom action figure based on his self created / painted character "The Patronizer" which could be found here at his deviantart gallery.

The custom was made from one of the A-Team figures "Face". I repainted the pants and shoes with black and brown, retouched the shading of the figure overall, painted the guns shiny black, though I made a slight mess on painting the hands which I might retouch later before handing them over...

I also created a custom stand which still need some white lettering for the title... And also designed a custom cardback which needs to be printed out...

And I still need to give it away...

Anyways... here's THE PATRONIZER... by ANOTHER LIFETIME FIGURES...

Haul #12: Soryu Asuka Langley

 

Share | Well this would be the first Haul Post of the month and it's nothing big. I'm saving my shells for the upcoming XMAS TOYCON this holiday, whether or not I can go.






                  Anyways... Here's a couple of images of Sohryu (Shikinami) Asuka Langley from the Evangelion Portraits 4 series of the first  movie of the Rebuild of Eva series (I think...). We were on our way home from a day of PURE ARTIST'S AWESOMENESS which I would be blogging about maybe on the next post... We were tired, I was hungry, we roamed the usual Ayala Hobby Fanboy Otaku Goods Lane (neeehhhh....) I saw some new Transformers Generations Dirge and Generations Blurr but the hobby shop owner said they could get some new stocks for me to get, and keeps on telling me to just concentrate on getting the utmost rare things at that time... oh well, just to shut him up, all I got was this Asuka figure...

Greenhills Haul #9: Rei Ayanami

Share | My Cohorts and I went on a trip to Greenhills last monday... We ate lunch there, and took several trips to most video game shops and hobby shops. A friend of mine bought a new game for his Xbox 360, and I got these two figures. My Otaku-ness reached an all time high, spent over 4k for 2 figures.

Greenhills Haul #8: Lunamaria Hawke

I was looking for this Lunamaria Hawke figure in particular for months, luckily i found it on Wasabitoys (2.5k!!! WTF!!!) I was originally planning on getting a Mio Akiyama Alter Figure from K-on, but couldn't find the one I was looking for. Then I found this Rei ayanami Figure and decided to get her instead...

I was only able to post these images now because I got sick after the trip with some bad indigestion. Anyways...

HAUL #6:Cybertronian Optimus Prime

| WFC Optimus Prime!!! After some weeks of waiting, I finally got the figure. A Deluxe class TF with Leader Class Transformations! Optimus Prime is now worthy of being called a leader of all ages.

HAUL #5: Generations Thrust

Share| I was planning to get a Cybertron Optimus Prime but this Thrust and Swift just shipped in. I figured that these seeker jets would be another rare figure for the wave.

(Optimus could wait, but I really really want another prime figure!!!)

This is Cybertronian Bee... I must say... TRANSFORMERS!!! MORE THAN MEETS THE EYES!!!


The car mode is pretty solid and compact, just right for Bumblebee. Beautiful yellow body but a big let down for some pinkish paint application that should've been red...

TOYCON HAUL #1: EVA Figures

So I went to TOYCON last saturday at about 5pm with my friends, and we were surprised on how much people gathered this year. The whole floor was packed! I wasn't able to look around freely like last time at all.

Any ways... here was the only stuff I went back with...

Figures from the new EVANGELION 2.22, Shikinami (sohryu) Asuka Langley, Rei Ayanami, and Misato Katsuragi... I was looking for Mari Illustrious Makinami but wasn't able to, maybe because I arrived much later.
